Forum Update Number 19

Dear Resident / Residents' Group
Whilst you draw breath between the Christmas festivities and the New Year's Eve celebrations, we would like to politely remind you that the next Meeting of the Westbury Community Forum will be held at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex (Old Pavilion) on Tuesday 8 January 2019, commencing at 7.00pm.

Westbury Library Update
Last October, BCC's Library Service announced that it would hold a series of “engagement” meetings, where each community could put forward their views of what they wanted from their local library and make proposals for the future.
Local Meetings, to include Westbury Library, will be held at the Greenway Centre and will cover Southmead, Westbury, Henleaze, Horfield and Lockleaze libraries. The dates for the meetings are Wednesday 6 March from 10am to midday and Saturday 9 March from 10am to midday. Places will have to be booked online.

Reporting Issues to the Council
Most issues/problems can be raised directly with the Council online at www.bristol.gov.uk
Reporting online can get a quicker response than trying to phone as the reports go directly to the teams on the ground. Some of the most useful direct links are:
Fly Tipping
Park/Green Space Problems
A Street Issue
Suggest Improvements to Local Roads

If you have issues that can't be reported online, or where the Council is failing to resolve them, then you should contact the Westbury & Henleaze councillors, currently:
Geoff Gollop: Cllr.Geoffrey.Gollop@bristol.gov.uk
Liz Radford: Cllr.Liz.Radford@bristol.gov.uk
Steve Smith: Cllr.Steve.Smith@bristol.gov.uk
